EDU-JORDAN Master Degree Accepted Students

Amman, Jordan. Edu-Jordan a scholarship program managed by the German Jordanian University and funded by the European Union and EU Regional Trust Fund “Madad Fund”, grant scholarships to Jordanian students for several master programs at German Jordanian University “GJU”, Jordan University of Science and Technology “JUST”, Yarmouk University “YU”, Mutah University “MU” and Princess Sumaya University for Technology “PSUT” (joint programme with GJU).

In the process Edu-Jordan project held Information sessions at JUST, PSUT and MU on Monday, 12 June 2017, Tuesday, 13 June 2017 and Wednesday, 15 June 2017 respectively for the Graduate studies. These sessions, organized by the GJU, in cooperation with the National Aid Fund “NAF”, Tkiyet Um Ali “TUA”, Al Aman Fund and Zakat Fund to define the conditions and the application procedure for the offered scholarships. Attended these sessions about 450 at JUST, 350 at PSUT and 150 at MU.

The total number of applicants was 546 who competed on 210 scholarships. The applicants were shortlisted to around 175 eligible candidates all of them are funds beneficiaries and had the higher ranks among candidates who applied to the same university (not less than ‘Good’). In addition, the priority was given to the students who submitted good motivation letter.

All the 175 eligible candidates attended English courses coordinated by the British Council in different locations north, middle and south, to prepare them to take English language exams that allow them to enrolled in the master programs.

The total number of the accepted students in the universities was 135 out of 175 eligible candidates, all the 135 candidates were granted the scholarship, distributed as follows 98 students at JUST, 18 students at MU, 8 students at each of YU and GJU and 3 at PSUT.
